What’s a fun fact about yourself? I’m helpful, I’m always happy, and have been my whole life. I don’t take life all that seriously.
Any hobbies outside of work? Drumming, Massage, Music Scene in SF. All are therapeutic for me.

What’s a fun fact about yourself? I always have a smile, and my family is everything! I’m a woman who loves the outdoors and sports, especially the Oakland Raiders, A’s and Hercules Titans.
Any hobbies outside of work? I enjoy kids sports. My son plays football and my daughter cheers for Hercules High.

When did you start at Hayes? February 2014.
Years of experience in the insurance industry: Since February 2014. Before joining the insurance world I had 4 years of experience managing an Outsourced Sales & Marketing Arm of AT&T.
Companies or industries you typically work with: Anything that can be considered difficult to place or too complex for other insurance agents to bother putting in the time. This includes accounts that are currently being non-renewed for claims history, canceled for non-pay, in lapse and any account that may have an open claim. Claims are a natural part of the insurance industry and often times preferred carriers will get off the accounts that have previously had some issues. We have found that most of these businesses are well-run and safe businesses to insure. They may have simply had a string of bad luck or some small claims that should have never been filed in the first place. With the right amount of Risk Management Advice, Underwriting & Trust most of these businesses or individuals deserve another chance to find a great insurance company to represent them. Also, even though we specialize in the commercial world of insurance, I love working with hard to place homes in high fire areas.
Why do your clients like working with you? I take the time to understand my client’s concerns and genuinely care about their business. Also, I can provide quotes very fast in most circumstances, including same-day quoting for many classes of business and homeowner’s/auto accounts.
What’s a fun fact about yourself? I was blessed to have grown up in a Beautiful State Park in Oklahoma – Greenleaf State Park. My dad managed various State Parks in Oklahoma for over 30 years. I am a very competitive person, including playing baseball and basketball for a majority of my life, as well as entering many Archery Tournaments. I’m a “Boomer Sooner” at heart and will always be a rabid College Football fan of the Oklahoma Sooners.
Any hobbies outside of work? Exploring the Beautiful Bay Area with my amazing Wife one adventure at a time. Camping, hiking & hanging with my great dog – Dan.
Success stories from some clients? I once saved a real estate company in New Jersey from going under due to a huge open claim. They couldn’t get insurance anywhere due to $2 million open claim and getting non-renewed. Their 2 options were to find an insurance taker or go under and try to re-open under a new name. One of our MGA’s came through with the only quote after 100+ brokers (including me for a while) had a shot at this and failed.

What’s a fun fact about yourself? I stole my husband’s kidney! Seriously. I had kidney failure due to a genetic disease (PKD) and my husband was a perfect match! My husband and I also ran a business selling homemade syrups for the ice cream industry for a few years.
Any hobbies outside of work? I love to cook.

Years of experience in the insurance industry: This is my first year in the insurance industry.
Why do your clients like working with you? Well, being a C.S.R. for Galen and Sam, I usually assist them with calls and certificates. When it comes to actual client interaction, they like the fact that I jump right on doing what they need. I also give them an estimated time on when to expect the task to be accomplished. I always like to call my clients and make sure they have received what they needed and make sure we cover anything else we can help them with.
What’s a fun fact about yourself? I basically grew up at the soccer field. I played soccer from the ages of 3 to 19. My dad is the vice president of the San Pablo United Youth Soccer Club and was my coach growing up. Even if I wasn’t playing, I was always at the soccer field watching and cheering on one of the 32 teams in the club. I’ve always loved being at the soccer field, and because of that I decided to become a coach myself. I got my coaching license and became a coach at the age of 15 and coached for 13-16 year old girls soccer for 6 years. Aside from the coaching and playing, I was also a youth referee after getting my refereeing license at the age of 14. So I guess you could have called me the soccer-playing referee that was always coaching.
Any hobbies outside of work? Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and especially my 6-month old son. Being outdoors, at the soccer field, or traveling, and going down to the beaches down in San Diego are also fun activities.

Where are you from? I grew up in Berkeley, CA, but I am originally from São Paulo, Brazil.
When did you start at Hayes? April 2015.

Companies or industries you typically work with: All classes of business but focus on hard to place clients such as Do It Yourself Auto Repair Garage, Axe Throwing Ranges and Homes that are located in high-risk areas.
Why do your clients like working with you? I would like to say that my clients like working with me because I take time to work with every one of them, as I like to make sure that I understand what his/her risks really are and properly insure each client correctly. My job here is not to sell, but advise and educate each one of my clients, to make sure they understand what their risks really are.
What’s a fun fact about yourself? I am a very outgoing person and I like to live life to the fullest. I have a beautiful wife and two wonderful boys that I love and I do all I can to spend as much time with them as possible. I love sports and being a good Brazilian, soccer is in the blood, but as I spent most of my life in Berkeley, I learned to enjoy the cold, so every chance I get, I will head to the Sierra Mountains and hit the slopes with my cool sidekick (the snowboard).
Any hobbies outside of work? Love being outdoors with my boys and traveling with my family. As soon as my little ones get a little older, Machu Picchu will be our destination.

Why do your clients like working with you? I enjoy providing exceptional customer service, whether it be over the phone or in person. I treat everyone with the same respect and professionalism I myself would want to receive.
What’s a fun fact about yourself? I have a soft spot for stray animals and rescue as often as I can. I feed a group of feral cats in my neighborhood here in San Pablo and have attempted to trap new litters to get them neutered to try and limit the feral cat community.
Any hobbies outside of work? I am a licensed cosmetologist. Outside of my full-time work schedule, I provide hair styling services for photo shoots/special events & clients. Hair styling is a passion of mine and I have never wanted to be overworked at something I really enjoy doing.
